Overview of Cash Flow Statements

Introduction

At this page, you can display the list of cash instruments by division. From the displayed cash instrument(s), you can select a cash instrument to open and display another page that displays the list of bank statements or cash flow transactions. For more information, see Displaying Cash Flow Entries.

Roles & rights

To view the list of cash instruments, function right 455 - View Cash Flow Reports is required. Users with the General manager,  Controller, and F&A staff roles have this function right.

For more details on what you can do with function rights or levels, go to System/Setup/Security/Function rights, select the required module, and then click on the relevant ID. To find out the functions you can perform with a particular role, go to System/Setup/Security/Roles, type in the description, click Refresh, and then click the required link under the Role column.

Button

Show

Click this to display the list of cash instruments according to the defined criteria.

Note: Once you have clicked this button, the name of the button will change to Refresh.

Refresh

Click this to update the results according to the defined criteria.

Reset

Click this to clear the defined criteria so that you can start a new search.

Close

Click this to exit.

Description

Criteria section

Division

Type or select a division linked to the cash flow instruments. For more information on creating and modifying divisions, see Creating and Modifying Divisions.

Country

Type or select a country linked to the cash instruments. For more information, see Modifying Country Data.

Type

Select one of the following options to display the type of cash instrument:

  • Bank
  • Cash
  • Cash register
  • Credit card

Leave this option blank if you wish to display all the types of cash instrument.

Status

Select Active or Inactive to determine the status of the cash instrument that you want to display. Leave this option blank if you wish to display both statuses.

Customize

Click at the title bar to customize the fields, columns, or sections. You can add or remove existing criteria based on your preferences by selecting or clearing the relevant check boxes. Click Save to save the settings, Default to reset your selections to the default setting, or Close to exit without saving. Take note of the following sections/fields:

Columns section

You can add or remove columns based on the information you want to view. You can arrange the order of the columns by clicking the Up or Down buttons. There are various columns that you can select such as Cash instrument, Currency, Bank, Country and many more.

Criteria section

You can define the relevant information on the criteria such as the bank, currency, and blocked.
